An Exhibition by Guillaume Tcherquez
Go beyond the tourist attractions and delve into the overlooked natural landscape of the Île-de-France in this exhibition by French researcher Guillaume Tcherquez.
The Flora of the Paris Basin exhibition allows visitors to uncover a world of natural and scientific richness, including rare flowers, orchids and endemic plants, which will be on display through a combination of posters and real samples taken from 19th century herbariums. The exhibition highlights the botanic biodiversity and the natural heritage of the Paris region, while exploring its relationships with Australian species, its role in the advancement of science, the life at the Court of Versailles and impressionist art.
