Foodie Fare - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE 🙁

The Fitzroy Street Business Association (FSBA) Committee wishes to advise that Foodie Fare will no longer be proceeding 🙁

Foodie Fare was created with clear and positive intentions.

Our aims were to:

• Support Fitzroy Street businesses
• Champion local farmers and producers
• Bring fresh and gourmet food to the doorstep of Fitzroy Street and St Kilda residents

While the market looked wonderful and was warmly received by those who attended, a series of significant challenges including multiple weather-impacted dates, a cancelled Christmas event (also due to weather), falling on school holiday and St Kilda Festival dates and lower-than-anticipated foot traffic on these days – have made continuing unsustainable.

Despite considerable investment of time, energy and financial resources, attendance did not reach the consistent levels required to support stallholders and ensure the long-term viability of the event.

The Committee is disappointed not to be able to continue delivering on the original vision of Foodie Fare. We remain committed, however, to supporting our traders and bringing activation and vibrancy to the precinct.

Our focus will now shift to other events and initiatives designed to deliver tangible benefit to Fitzroy Street businesses and the broader community. We thank all stallholders, partners and supporters who were part of Foodie Fare and contributed to its spirit and ambition.
